With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Jack Dale Loveless. Jack was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven Wednesday afternoon, June 25, 2025.
Jack was born July 11, 1927 in Grand Rapids to Richard Loveless and Ruth Ogden. Jack was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Jack was a lifelong supporter of the Salvation Army.
Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and spending time with his horses in his younger years. Most recently he enjoyed gardening, his chickens, and telling stories of his time in the service or working in the woods to his friends and family.
Jack is survived by his children: Pat (Ron) Taylor, James Taylor, April Loveless, Heather Thompson, Shawn Irwin, Janine (David) Marvin, Kevin (Rita) Loveless; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Ruth Tyler; his sisters, Fern and Dawn; his brother, Rex; and his daughter, Janet.
Visitation will be held at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 10-11 AM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, followed by a Graveside Service with Military Honors at 12:00 Noon on Thursday at Lincoln Township Cemetery.
