Janice Lynn (Sorah) Vander Molen

Janice Lynn Vander Molen, age 73 of White Cloud, passed away on Saturday morning, February 18, 2023 at her home.  She was born on January 13, 1950 in Ferndale, Michigan to Baxter Lee & Eunice Gertrude (Gabel) Sorah, Jr.  Janice played classical violin & piano, and she was an avid reader and traveler.  On April 29, 1972 she married Gary Vander Molen and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2013.  She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Veronica Powell; by her parents; and by her brother, Terry Sorah.  Janice is survived by 3 children:  Tamara (Michael Day) Vander Day of Clyde, North Carolina, Mark Vander Molen of Fremont, Jamie Vander Molen of Fremont; 6 grandchildren:  Nicole (Mitchell Davey) Day, Cory (Caroline) Vander Molen, Ethan Vander Molen, Corbin Powell, Luke Vander Molen, & Levi Vander Molen; 2 great-grandchildren, Elliott & William Davey; sisters & brothers:  Sandy Sundeen, Margaret Gheldof, Chuck Sorah, Dian Pervinkler, John (Barb) Sorah; sister-in-law, Shari Sorah; and by many nieces & nephews.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
