Jean B. (McPherson) Thornton

Jean B. Thornton, age 92 of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday morning, November 24, 2021 at Regency at Fremont.  She was born on June 2, 1929 in Ecorse, Michigan to Steward & Viola (Wohlfeil) McPherson.  Jean retired from Gerber Products Company as a Telephone Survey Supervisor, and she was a member of Fremont Church of the Nazarene.  On November 1, 1947 she married Stanley H. Thornton, and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2016.  She is survived by 2 children:  Stanley D. (JoAnn) Thornton of Fremont, Sue (Pete) Crans of Fremont; 8 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters:  her twin sister Joan Phillips of West Virginia, and Betty Israel of Fremont; and several nieces & nephews.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  Suggested Memorials:  Fremont Church of the Nazarene, or The Way Eye See It Blind Support Group in Hesperia.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
