Obituary

Jeanne Alisa Knoll, age 60 of Grand Rapids & formerly of Newaygo, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday evening, July 16, 2020 from her sister Susan Abbott’s home in Newaygo.  She was born on August 25, 1959 in Munich, Germany to Richard “Dick” J. & Carline R. (Brown) Knoll, Sr.  Jeanne had been employed for 35 years at Leon Plastics Company in Grand Rapids.  She is survived by her mother, Carline Knoll of Newaygo; by her brothers & sister:  Richard (Deb) Knoll, Jr. of Austin, Texas, Susan (Kevin) Abbott of Newaygo, David Knoll of Newaygo, Timothy Knoll of Newaygo; and by many special nieces & nephews.  Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Knoll, Sr. in 2002; and by her grandparents Charles & Jeannette Ranger and Edward & Jeannette Brown.  Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, a private family graveside service will be held at Garfield Township Cemetery on Saturday, August 8, 2020 with Pastor David Simmer officiating.  There will be a luncheon & time to visit with the family for the general public beginning at 1:30 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the home of Susan & Kevin Abbott, 8335 Greenwood Lane, Newaygo, Michigan  49337.  Suggested Memorial:  Emma L.
