Mr. Jeffery Allen Spofford of Hesperia, formerly of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2025, while visiting one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico.
He was born on June 19, 1957 in Muskegon, Michigan.
He worked at Harbor Steel for 25 years and was proud to be a part of their team.
Jeff leaves behind a significant legacy. He was kind, generous, funny and entertaining. He always had a smile on his face, was laughing, and was the center of attention at social gatherings. Jeff made his way into so many hearts with endearment, and loved his friends and family deeply.
God Bless. May you rest in peace, for you were so loved by those you met on your journey through life. You will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Spofford; Sons, Jeffery Jr & Joey Spofford; Granddaughter, Shania Spofford; Stepdaughter, Leah Sigman; 2 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; his sister, Sandy McKee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ann Spofford.
A Time of Visiting with Jeff’s Family will be held from 4-6 P.M. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. in Fremont. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you bring photographs of Jeff so they may build a memory board. Suggested Memorials: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
