Jessica Ann (Hingston) Lindsey

Jessica Ann (Hingston) Lindsey, age 42 of Newaygo, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at her home.  She was born on May 28, 1982 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Steven & Cheryl (Guthrie) Hingston.

Jessica was, first and foremost, a great mom. Her children were her whole world, and she loved them unconditionally. She lit up every room with her charisma and bold spirit. She was fiercely loyal and always stood up for what was right. Her charm melted the heart of all who knew and loved her. The world will forever be a little less bright without the shine of our beloved Jessica. 

She is survived by 5 children:  Christian (Kenzie) Lindsey, Sienna Lindsey, Briana Lindsey, Carissa Canales, & Mya Canales; her fiance, Adam Cook (and children Alex, Braden, & Daisy); her mother, Cheryl Riggs (Barron) Johnson; brothers & sisters:  Jeremy Guthrie, Rachel (Dan) Davis, Andrea (Randy) Morgan, James (Jessica) Riggs, Brooke Schaefer, Megan (James) Force, Tasia Lindemann; many, many nieces & nephews who she loved so much; step-mother, Karen Hingston; former partner, Chris Canales (and daughter Adrianna); grandparents:  Louella Guthrie, Max (Rose) Robinson; and many aunts, uncles, & cousins.  Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Steve Hingston; and by her grandparents:  Francis & Arda Hingston, and Garry Guthrie. 

Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home in Fremont from 2-4 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2024.  A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Ashland Township Cemetery.  Please bring your own lawn chair to the service.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to a fund being set up to support her young children.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
