John E. Oles

John E. Oles, age 85 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday morning, September 19, 2025.  He was born on January 8, 1940 in Montague Township, Michigan to John Arthur & Lillian Gladys (Case) Oles.  John was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and he was retired from Howmet.  On November 9, 1962 he married Shirley Ekkel and she survives him along with 1 brother, Cliff Oles; brother-in-law, David (Margie) Ekkel; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Allen) Vandenberg.  John was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.  A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
