Mr. Joseph W. Deblock age 91 of Holton, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 3, 1928 in Holton, Michigan to Frank & Mary (Meglic) Deblock. Joe was retired from Brunswick Corporation, and he had been a farmer all of his life. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Brunswick, and he was an avid hunter & fisherman. On April 26, 1952 he married Betty Young and she survives him along with 2 children: Mark (Johanna) Deblock, RoseMarie Stariha; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, & 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters: Caroline (Gene) Macario, & Cathy DeMars; and 1 brother-in-law, George Young. Joe was preceded in death by his son-in-law, John M. Stariha; by his grandson, John M. “Johnny” Stariha II; and by several sisters & 1 brother. The Con-Celebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 21, 2020 at St Michael Catholic Church in Brunswick with Fr. Peter Schafer & Fr. Peter Omogo as Con-Celebrants. Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday. Interment will be at St Michael Catholic Cemetery.
