Joyce C. Strong

Mrs. Joyce C. Strong, age 92 of Newaygo, formerly of Ludington & Twin Lake, passed away on Saturday evening, October 27, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 6, 1926 Ludington, MI. to Maurice & Evelyn (Doty) Marshall.  On June 21, 1946 she married Fred W. Strong and he survives her along with 2 children:  Carol (Buzz) Buzzell of Twin Lake, Denis (Kim) Strong of Newaygo; 4 grandchildren:  Scott (Kelly) Buzzell, Brad (Kelly) Buzzell, Katrina (Jay) Luchies, Derek (Andrea) Strong; 11 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson.  Joyce was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Wright & Mabel Stevers; and by her brothers, Leslie Johnson & Robert Johnson.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home in Fremont with Pastor Art Barton officiating.
