Judy Mae (DeBoer Lamse) Krause

Mrs. Judy Mae DeBoer Lamse Krause, age 79 of Fremont, passed away late Sunday evening, June 16, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. 
 
Judy is a graduate of Hope College, with a B.A. in Religious Education. She also continued taking classes in Adult Christian Education at Western Theological Seminary throughout her life.
 
She went on to work in the Life Enrichment Center at Pine Rest Christian Hospital and taught relationship classes at hospitals and businesses and Divorce Care classes in West Michigan for 25 years. Judy also served as Office Manager at Fremont Wesleyan Church for eight years.
 
For the last number of years, she worked part-time at the American Decency Association.  She also taught piano lessons and attended and served as pianist for Bethel Reformed Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Fremont, MI.
 
Judy is survived by four children: Randy Lamse (fiancée Debbie Duram) of Grand Haven, MI; Cherrie (Todd) Montgomery of Phoenix, AZ; Kevin (Anca) Lamse of Indianapolis, IN; and Daniel (Jody) Lamse of Saginaw, MI; and seven grandchildren.
 
Her faith in God and zest for life has inspired many, and her influence and impact will be felt for generations to come. 

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Fremont Wesleyan Church.
