Kayla Jade Cale, 10 years old of Paw Paw, formerly of Muskegon, passed away on July 15, 2024 and is now at peace.
She was born on September 6, 2013 in Muskegon, MI, the daughter of David and Kortney (Dulin) Cale.
Kayla was described as "the sweetest girl but oh so feisty." She was strong and brought a smile to all those who she encountered. Kayla was diagnosed at birth with cerebral palsy and many other health complications. She beat the odds and lived further than her given life expectancy. Kayla was and always will be our hero.
Kayla was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Rodney Dulin Sr. and James Gillespie.
Kayla is survived by her parents, David and Kortney (Dulin) Cale, one brother; Caleb Cale, five sisters; Rihanna, Mia and Sophia Cale, Janaysha and Jahzara Billings, grandmothers; Kimberly (Wiggins) Dulin and Pamela (Cale) Dupont, Grandfather, Billy Stevens, Uncle Rodney (Alicia) Dulin Jr., Aunt Stephanie (Mark) Cale, Uncle James Dulin, Aunt Brandi (Brett) Kammers, and Aunt Kimberly Whelan.
Many cousins; Ayden and Rhyleigh Dulin, River Jones, Hanaha and Trenitey Cale, Christopher Hosmer, Lillyanna, Symphoni, and Brett Jr. Kammers, Raleigh Whelan, Cayden and Serenitey Cashbaugh and one great cousin Bryson Ward.
There will be a time of visiting with the family at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 1-3 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, concluding with a time of sharing at 3 PM. A luncheon and time to further visit with the family will immediately follow at the Sherman Township Hall until 7 PM on Thursday.
