Kendall Ray Weiden, age 70 of Muskegon, received his ultimate healing and is in the arms of his Savior as of Thursday morning, October 21, 2021. He was born on June 2, 1951 in Fremont, Michigan to Edwin & Laura (Jordan) Weiden. Ken graduated with his MBA from Grand Valley. He was a certified purchasing manager, and worked in the aluminum die casting and plastics industries. Ken was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church, and he had been a school board member at both Muskegon Christian School and Western Michigan Christian High School. He was active in Ruffed Grouse Society, NAVHDA, and he was a lifetime member of Pheasants Forever. Ken hunted with his dogs: Jake, Reggiana, & Stella. He was a family oriented, trustworthy, man of integrity. On February 23, 1973 he married Janet “Jan” Vredeveld, and she survives him along with children & grandchildren: Brian (Jeanette) Weiden and their daughter Kendall, Curtis (Sarah) Weiden and their sons Noah & Charlie; siblings: Roger (Carol) Weiden, Jeffrey (Peg) Weiden, Michael (fiancée Janet Refus) Weiden; sisters-in-law: Barb (Pete) Wagenmaker, Karin (Dave) Brown; and by many nieces & nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stephen Weiden; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Richard & Marian Vredeveld; and by his brother-in-law, Gordon Vredeveld. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Mark Milkamp officiating. A time of visiting with the family will also take place at the church from 2-4 PM on Sunday, and from 12-1 PM on Monday.
