Kenneth Jay Boerman, age 84 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Saturday afternoon, November 7, 2020. He was born on July 11, 1936 in Fremont, Michigan to George & Ruth (Moulder) Boerman. Ken was a dairy farmer, and he drove truck for MPH. He was an active member of Church of the Living Christ in Fremont. Ken was married to Mary Jane Bannink and she preceded him in death. He later married Sharon Bramer and she survives him along with 6 children: Daniel (Jane) Boerman, Douglas (Carolyn) Boerman, James (Laurie) Boerman, Jack (Cindy) Boerman, Luann (Ron) Gardner, Tami (Tim) Pearl; 40 grandchildren & 26 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Helen Swinehart, Doris (Matthew) Okkema, Margaret VanKoevering; several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; and by many nieces & nephews. Ken was also preceded in death by his children: Kurt Alan Boerman & Carlyn Brandt; and by his sister, Marian Rottman. Visitation will be held at Church of the Living Christ in Fremont from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, and from 10-11 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Masks are optional. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Church of the Living Christ in Fremont with Rev. Dr. Tom Jasperse officiating. Masks are optional, and the service will be livestreamed on the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
