Kevin M. Sloan, Jr.

Kevin M. "Tiger" Sloan, Jr., age 32 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.  He was born on June 19, 1986 in Fremont, Michigan to Kevin M. & Jeanette M. (Risthouse) Sloan.  Kevin was currently employed by Challenge Manufacturing in Grand Rapids, and he had previously been employed by Magna Donnelly Corporation in Newaygo.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, fixing electronics, and he was an excellent cook and a wonderful father.  Kevin also loved tigers, and he was a gift of life donor that is now helping 125-150 people.  He is survived by his daughter, Kaylee & her mother Latasha; by his son, Devin & his mother & fiancee of Kevin, Alisha.  Kevin is also survived by his mother, Jeanette Sloan of Grant; father, Kevin M. (Wanda) Sloan of Denver, Colorado; half-brother, Jeremy Smith & his son Troy; grandfather, Kenneth Sloan of Florida; and many aunts, uncles, & cousins.  Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Deloris Sloan, Cecil & Sandra Risthouse.  A Celebration of Kevin's life will take place at the Gerber Union Hall in Fremont (5960 Warner Ave) on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM followed by a luncheon and time to visit with the family until 4:00 PM.  Memorial contributions can be given to the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
