Kristen L. (Cole) Pickard

Kristen L. Pickard, age 37 of Fremont, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022.  She was born on August 17, 1985 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Kristen graduated from Newaygo Public Schools in 2004.  She was currently employed by Western & Southern Life Insurance Company (Gerber Life), and she had previously worked at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont as a CNA.  She attended MOPS at First Baptist Church in Fremont, and she enjoyed raising her goats and chickens.  On September 13, 2014 she married Greg Pickard and he survives her along with 2 sons, Ethan & Wyatt.  Kristen is also survived by her parents, Brian & Linda Cole; 3 sisters:  Bobbi (Bill) Bradford, Tracy (David) Peabody, Debbie (Jeff) Horrigan; father-in-law, Rick Pickard; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Kaitlin) Pickard; and by several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barb Pickard.  Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Kristen’s life will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 28, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Fremont with Dr. Steve Witter officiating.  There will be a time of visiting with the family at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 2-4 PM on Sunday, November 27, and at the church from 10-11 AM on Monday, November 28.  Interment will be in Garfield Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Newaygo County Fair for small animals, goat division.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
