Larry Lee Zandvliet, Sr., age 85 of Fremont, passed away on Monday evening, January 9, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1937 in Holland, Michigan to Arthur & Ethel (Pell) Zandvliet. Larry had been a truck driver for Gilliland Transfer, and he was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 406 in Grand Rapids. He had also owned Larry’s Lawn Service. Larry was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, and he loved to play golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann (Gilliland Ensing) Zandvliet. Larry is survived by 2 children: Kim (Jim) Dow, Larry J. (Jane) Zandvliet; 3 step-children: Denise (Tom) Homrich, Brad Ensing, & Sandra (Eric) Gamelin; 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Diane (Carroll) Zerlaut. There will be no visitation or service. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.
