Lawrence Seaman Obituary

Mr. Lawrence Edward Seaman, 84, of Montague, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 20, 1934 in Alden, Michigan to his parents Evan Seaman and Gladys (Smith) Seaman. He served in the United States Army in 1955 and 1956, being stationed in France, Germany and Spain. After the Army he went to work for Western Union where he met his beloved wife Eleanor. He enjoyed going to Florida, traveling the U.S. and playing golf after he retired.

He is survived by his children: Virgil (Hoa) Seaman of San Gabriel, California, Jan Seaman of Folsom, California, and Carol (Greg) Hendrie of Fremont, Michigan; Granddaughter, Kayla Hendrie of Fremont; two brothers: Alfred (Alice) Seaman of Alden, Michigan, and George (Helen) Seaman of Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife on November 15, 2018, as well as by his parents.

A private ceremony will be held by the family.
