Lee Allen Johnson

Lee Allen Johnson, age 73 of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 22, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born on May 22, 1951 in White Cloud, Michigan to Harold & Amelia (Morgensen) Johnson.  Lee was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and he had been a cabinet maker.  He was also a beekeeper, and he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and bird watching.  On June 30, 2003 he married Sheryl Borgman and she survives him along with 3 children & 8 grandchildren:  Shawn (Cora Crowley) Johnson & his children Easton & Lane; Shannon (Brad Timmer) Johnson & their children Tylinne, Logan, Lilly, & Harper; Lisa (Kurt) Curtice and their children Maya & Gabe.  Lee is also survived by his sister-in-law, Charlotte Johnson; and by many special nieces & nephews, including his nephew Chuck Tanis who will be making a special urn for Lee.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Amelia Johnson; brother, Paul Johnson; sister & her husband, Louise & Leonard Olson; and by his sister Janet Tanis.  According to his wishes cremation has taken place, and Military Honors will be rendered at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home in Fremont on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2 PM followed by a time of visiting with the family until 4 PM on Sunday.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
