Loretta Carol (Barnette) Hepinstall

Loretta Carol Hepinstall, age 92 of Fremont and formerly of Grant & Newaygo, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 21, 2026 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on June 30, 1934 in Muskegon, Michigan to Oscar & Doris (Parrish) Barnette.

Loretta had been employed by Grant State Bank as a bank teller, by O & A Electric in Newaygo, and by Gerber Life in Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Erwin Garth Baker & Ward Hepinstall, and by her sons Michael Baker & Patrick Baker.  Loretta is survived by her son Steven (Dawn DeShaw) Baker of Grant. 

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
