Marc Andrew Hawk

Marc Andrew Hawk, age 50 of Holton, passed away early Sunday morning, May 23, 2021 at the Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon.  He was born on April 19, 1971 in Muskegon, Michigan to Orville & Marie (Rasmussen) Hawk.  Marc graduated from Holton High School in 1990, and he attended Holton United Methodist Church.  He had been employed by Holton Township Department of Public Works for over 20 years, and then by Walmart in Fremont for 1 year.  Marc had also been on the Holton Township Fire Department for 30 years, where he started as an Explorer and ended as Fire Chief.  He also loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  Marc is survived by his parents, Orville & Marie Hawk of Holton; brothers & sisters:  Rodney (Kristy) Hawk of Hesperia, Jill Burns of North Carolina, Bryan (Lori) Hawk of Holton, Joan (Jim) Cutlip of Ohio, Ted Hawk of Holton.  He is also survived by many nieces & nephew, aunts, uncles, & cousins. Marc was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Alissa Hawk.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Marc’s life will be held outdoors at the Holton United Methodist Church Prayer Garden at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2021 with Pastor Matt Stoll officiating.  Please bring your own lawn chair for seating.  In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved inside to the church sanctuary.  A luncheon and time to visit with the family will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Holton Township Fire Department.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
