Marcella A. (Brandt) Homfeld

Mrs. Marcella A. Homfeld, age 72 of Hesperia, passed away on Thursday evening, March 18, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon.  She was born on September 24, 1948 in Fremont, Michigan to Merritt & Sarah (Smith) Brandt.  Marcella had been a foster grandmother at Hesperia Community Schools, and she also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  On July 31, 1971 she married Donald H. Homfeld and he preceded her in death on September 1, 2009.  She was also preceded in death by several brothers & sisters.  Marcella is survived by 2 sons, Don (Jean Westmoreland) Homfeld & Dustin (Heather) Homfield; 6 grandchildren:  Dakota, Allison, Chad, Spencer, Nicholas, & Bau.  She is also survived by several brothers & sisters, as well as her large extended family.  There will be a luncheon and time of visiting with the family at the Hesperia American Legion Post on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 1-3 PM.  Flowers for the family can be sent to the funeral home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
