Marguerite "Margaret" Beth Stroven

Marguerite “Margaret” Beth Stroven, age 69 of Fremont, passed away on Monday evening, October 24, 2022.  She was born on May 9, 1953 in Fremont, Michigan to George W. & Mary Elizabeth (Harris) Stroven.  Margaret had worked on the family farm, and she had been a volunteer at the Department of Human Services in White Cloud.  She had also worked in the survey department at Gerber Products Company, and at the Times Indicator.  Margaret was a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont where she taught Sunday School for many years, and she loved her dogs.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, by her brother & his wife Jerry & Colleen Stroven, by her brother James Stroven, and by 2 nephews:  John Schaub and Todd Tubergen.  She is survived by her brothers & sister:  William (Diane) Stroven, Kenneth (Jeannie) Stroven, Mary (Richard) Tubergen, George (Barbara) Stroven, Jr., Richard (Rosalie) Stroven, John Stroven; by her brother James Stroven’s companion, Linda Ward; by many nieces & nephews, as well as by many great-nieces & nephews, who she loved and cherished.  A Memorial Service will be held at First Reformed Church in Fremont at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2022 with Pastor Joel Zuidema officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 2-3 PM on Friday.  Interment was made at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial: First Reformed Church in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
