Marian Breuker, 94, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born to Albert and Josie Karnemaat on November 5, 1930. She married Andrew Breuker and for 63 years, joined him in growing in faith, working on the farm and raising 8 children. She and Andy enjoyed sports of all kinds, including golf. After selling the farm in retirement they moved across from the Fremont Christian School where she enjoyed watching the kids come and go. A lifelong member of First Christian Reformed Church, she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, enjoyed Mary Martha Society, supported missionary work and the Christian Schools. She loved Jesus, family and friends, flowers, gardening and working in her yard. Marian is survived by 7 children: Dale (Pam) Breuker of Fremont, Phil (Jodi) Breuker of Grand Haven, Mary Jane (Ron) Baylor of Kalamazoo, Andy (Judy) Breuker of Hudsonville, Pam (Larry) Orgeck of Grand Rapids, Jim (Sarah) of Wyoming, Mark (Bobbie) Breuker of Colorado, daughter-in-law Laurie Breuker of Jenison; 39 beloved grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; brother Al and Marlene Karnemaat of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Andrew Breuker and son Larry Breuker, brother Willis (Ann) Karnemaat, and sister Joyce (George) Bunce. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 25 at church. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 11:00 AM at First Christian Reformed Church, with Pastor Allen Petroelje officiating. A livestream of the service will be available at First Fremont CRC YouTube page (YouTube.com/@FirstFremontCRC1886). A luncheon at church will immediately follow the service, and a private interment will follow at Sherman Township Cemetery.
