Marjorie Joan (Dobben) Moon

Marjorie Joan (Dobben) Moon, age 91 of Fremont, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday morning, September 9, 2021.  She was born on April 13, 1930 in Fremont, Michigan to Richard & Jennie (Kolk) Dobben.  Marge had been a Registered Nurse at Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont for 30 years until her retirement, and she was a member of Second Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.  On October 17, 1952 she married Nathan D. Moon who preceded her in death on July 20, 2003.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Glen & Russell Dobben.  Marge is survived by 5 children:  Randall (Mavis) Moon, Nancy (Robert) Lapka, Charles (Mary Jo) Moon, Dale Moon, & Judith Moon; 2 daughters-in-law, Pati Moon & Janna Moon; 12 grandchildren:  Cori Moon, Luke (Desiray) Moon, Zachary (Ashlee) Moon, Nathan (Katie) Lapka, Athena Lapka, Sarah (Matt) Thelen, Josh (Vivian) Moon, Jake Moon, Rebecca (Mike) McAlpin, Justin (Katie) Moon, Dan (Abi) Moon, Marcus (Autumn) Moon; and 18 great grandchildren.  The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Second Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Nate Kooistra officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 11-12 Noon on Friday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorials:  International Aid, or The Fremont Area Community Foundation for the Fremont Christian School Endowment Fund.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
