Martha Josephine (Cordts) Waters

Martha Josephine (Cordts) Waters passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was a wonderfully loving mother and grandmother to many generations of family. Martha was born on November 27, 1926 in White Cloud, Michigan to George and Martha (Horvath) Cordts. She married Jim Waters on December 18, 1948 in Fremont, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her 5 children: Karen (Waters) Morris, Jim (Sue) Waters, Kay (Waters) Chilson, Mary (Waters) Folkema, and Mark Waters; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marie (Ben) Sovinski; and by her brother, George (Lucy) Cordts.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia (Puck) Nelson; and by 2 sons-in-law, Fred Morris and Roger Folkema. There will be no visitation or service at Martha’s request.
