Mary Jane Mack, age 82 of Fremont, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday evening, November 26, 2023. She was born on April 2, 1941 in Fremont, Michigan to Howard "Fuzz" & Grace (VanEmst) Oosting. Mary Jane was a lifetime resident of Fremont, where she spent 55 years living on Fremont Lake. She had been a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont, where she played the piano and organ for 55 years. Her family was the focus of her life. On August 17, 1962 she married Joseph J. Mack, Jr. and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Joe Mack; sister & her husband, Marcia & Marlowe "Mike" VanderZee; and by her brother & his wife, Dick & Judi Oosting. Mary Jane is survived by 2 children: Julie Ann Mack, Daniel Jon (Shannon) Mack; 5 grandchildren: Nichole Mack, Dakoyta (Marissa) Greenman, Isaac (Emily) Greenman, Nolan Haskin, & Alex Haskin; 2 great-grandchildren, Liam & Elliott Greenman; and by several nieces & nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at First Reformed Church in Fremont with Dr. Glenn Wagner & Dr. Steve Witter officiating. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation will also be at the church from 1-2 PM on Saturday. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.
