Melton Walton Obituary

Mr. Melton William Walton, age 68 of Fremont, passed away on Saturday morning, March 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 30, 1951 in Cadillac, Michigan to William & Bertha (Clawson) Walton. Melton was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He retired in 2012 from Diversified Machinery in Montague, and he had previously worked for Kurdziel Industries in Rothbury. Melton enjoyed fishing & hunting. On July 28, 1990 he married Maria Martinez and she survives him along with 4 children: Danny Walton, Gary (Kathy) Walton, Laura Walton, Steven (Kayla) Walton; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Bertha Walton; and by his brothers & sisters. Donald Walton, Ronald (Cherry) Walton, Diana Beebe, Judy Slagle, & William Walton. Melton was preceded in death by his father, William Walton; and by his son, Troy Walton.
