Michael Scott Frens

Michael Scott Frens, age 60 of Fremont, passed away from a brain tumor on Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2022 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He was born on August 28, 1961 in Fremont, Michigan to Edward Harold & Carol Sue (Larabee) Frens, Sr.  Michael was a US Army Veteran, and he had a love for sailing and for his children & grandchildren.  He is survived by 3 sons:  Dan (Casey) Frens, David (Erika Thompson) Frens, Thomas (Brenda) Frens; his mother, Carol Frens; sisters & brother:  Peggy Hart, Edward Harold (Pamela) Frens, Jr., & Marjory Wiggers.  Michael was preceded in death by his father, and by his brother Jeffrey Frens.  According to his wishes cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held in the Spring.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont, next to his brother Jeffrey.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
