Norvel "Norv" Arden Reed

Norvel "Norv" Arden Reed, 75 of Hesperia, passed away May 9, 2024 at Fremont, Michigan. He was born March 14, 1949 to Arden Leroy and Minnie Mae (Schmieding) Reed.

Norvel worked for many years at Slocum Farms, Whitehall Tannery and retired from Dura.

Norvel was 1st married to Patricia Marie Hughes. They had two children: Rhonda Reed and Ross Reed. Rhonda married Jim Saunders and they had two children: Michael Saunders and Jayme Saunders, and one grandson Landon Johnson.

Norvel married Mary Ann Wheeler on March 22, 1986 at Bitely, Mi. They were married for 35 years.

Norvel was preceded in death by his parents Arden and Minnie Reed, his wife Mary Ann Reed, his step-son James Parsons, step- son- in- law John Wilbur, and brother Ogden Charles Reed.

Norvel is survived by his children Rhonda (Jim) Saunders, Ross Reed, step-children:  Terry (Beth) Parsons, Sheryl Wilbur, Patricia Saxton, Pam (Jack) Allen, Lori (Terry) Kramer; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
