Patricia "Pat" Ann (Benedict) Tibbe

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Ann Tibbe, age 88 of Fremont, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on March 17, 1935 in Muskegon, Michigan to Charles & Myrtle (Grabe) Benedict.  Pat had been employed at Speas Apple Juice for 20 years until her retirement in 1994.  She volunteered with bingo at Green Acres in Fremont, and she was a member of Inspire Church in Fremont.  Pat enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren, and she loved her Chihuahua named Tanner.  She was preceded in death by her husbands:  Fred Gillette, Kenneth Charles Smedley, and Gordon Tibbe; son, Steven Gillette; granddaughter, Nicole Gillette; grandsons:  Steven Woodrum, Evan Yonker, Nicholas Woodrum; great granddaughter, Nevaeh Gillette; parents; brother, George Benedict; sister & her husband, Charlet & George Schofield.  Pat is survived by her children:  Freddie Gillette, Sam Gillette, John (Elizabeth) Gillette, Timothy R. Gillette, Sherrie Smedley; 9 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren; brothers:  Charles (Ramona) Benedict, Ronald (Frances) Benedict; & sisters,  Katherine Ditello & Donna Leslie.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Pat’s life will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Inspire Church in Fremont with Pastor Greg Johnson officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 12-1 PM on Friday.  Suggested Memorial: Inspire Church.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
