Paul Keith Stroven 95 passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter and son-in-law on July 1, 2019. He is now with Jesus and is reunited with his family who went before him. Keith, as he was known, was born on November 2, 1923 in Fremont, the third child of Harry and Lena (Ott) Stroven. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stanley Stroven, sister Katherine Holly, his wife of 74 plus years Marguerite (Furda) Stroven, their first born infant son, his nephew Capt William H Stroven and grand nephew Scott Seater.
Keith is survived by his daughter Patricia (Richard) Marconi, his son Harry (Donna) Stroven, grand children Jamie Marconi and Christopher (Alicia) Marconi, also his great grand children Madison, Marissa, Marcello and Marcus Marconi.
Keith grew up east of Fremont on the farm his grandmother (Mina), father (Harry), uncle (Gerhard), and brother (Stanley) operated until he became old enough to become part of the business. He delivered dairy products in the Fremont area and had a milk pickup route that had a much wider territory. Eventually his brother became the owner operator of Greenwood Farms Dairy while Keith and Marguerite increased their farming operation being his brother's largest milk supplier. In the 1960s Keith and Marguerite and their good friend Jim Seyferth formed West Michigan Tractor Sales, a John Deere dealership in Fremont and Conklin. He then went back into dairy farming which he always had a love for even in retirement. In his latter years he enjoyed working at the Gerber Hospital coffee and gift shop until he became a caretaker along with daughter Pat for his wife Marguerite.
A private service was held at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery . Memorial contributions can be made to Spectrum Health Hospice and Palliative Care (100 Michigan Street NE, MC 004, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
