Raymond V. Fairchild

Mr. Raymond V. Fairchild, age 86 of Hesperia, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025 in Fremont, Michigan.  He was born on June 8, 1938 in Hesperia, Michigan to Paul “Ferris” and Myrtle Fairchild. Raymond worked at Gerber Products for 40 years, where he had been a Team Leader. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Ray also liked to square dance and bowl. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On September 21, 1957 he married Janice Herin and she survives him, along with two children: Ilene Kay (Troy) Roberson of Hesperia, and Bradley Ray (Janet) Fairchild of Hesperia; 3 Grandchildren: Jennifer (Kris) Revoldt of Illinois, Christopher (Amy) Fairchild of White Cloud, Jamie (Willard) Oyler of Twin Lake:  7 Great-Grandchildren: Quinn & Harper Revoldt, Alexis, Bradley & Leah Fairchild, Wyatt & Maxton Oyler; His Brother, Joe Fairchild; his sisters-in-law: Sandy Fritz, Sherry Heckman, Arlene Fairchild & Sue Herin

He was preceded in death by his parents; His In-Laws, Lloyd & Wilma Herin, 2 brothers: Darwin Buck, Paul Fairchild, Jr.; sister-in-law, Bonnie Fairchild; brothers-in-law, Dale Fritz, Jerry Heckman, & Larry Herin.

A Time of Visiting with the Family will be held from 11-12 Noon on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc in Fremont. A Private Family Graveside will be held at West Hesperia Cemetery.
