Rich Kraley, Jr.

Rich Kraley, Jr., age 55 of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, after a long battle with cancer.  He was born on March 24, 1967 in Fremont, Michigan to Rich & Jean (Wright) Kraley.  Rich graduated from Hesperia High School in 1985.  He had been employed by Bill’s Shop-N-Save in Fremont for 25 years, Walmart on Sherman Blvd in Muskegon for 10 years, and he was currently employed by Meijer in Fremont.  Rich was an avid deer hunter & golfer, he enjoyed fishing, especially the annual trip to Canada, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  On May 8, 1993 he married Julie Frens, and she survives him along with 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren:  Ashley (Blake Huisingh) Brown & her children Carter & Ariana; Miranda (Dylan Westbrook) Kraley & her children Daxtyn, Mavryk, Klark, & Maddyn; and Gabi (fiance Ben DeWeerd) Kraley.  Rich is also survived by his parents, Rich & Jean Kraley; 2 sisters:  Brandi Kraley, Shay (Jeff Hayes) Kraley; and by his father-in-law & mother-in-law:  Doug (Marleen) Frens, Judy (Jim) Wallace.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Brett Kraley.  Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Harvest Fremont.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Monday, November 28, and at Harvest Fremont from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, November 29.  Suggested Memorial:  Newaygo County Compassion Home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
