Robert "Bob" Clifton Millard

Robert "Bob" Clifton Millard, age 86 of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 17, 2024 at the Brook of Newaygo.  He was born on January 2, 1938 in Grant, Michigan to Ray & Dorothy (Heffron) Millard.  Bob worked in construction as an ironworker, and he was a member of Iron Workers Local 340.  He was also a member of Fremont Moose Lodge #1555, and White Cloud Eagles #4170.  Bob also enjoyed meeting his daughters at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249.  On October 30, 1971 he married Evelyn Crandall and she preceded him in death on August 5, 2009.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Jack Millard, and by his sister Karen Towne.  Bob is survived by 2 daughters:  Kathy (Randy) Becker, Cheryl (Jerry) Johnson; 2 grandchildren: Alex Becker & Garrett Becker; and by several nieces & nephews.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be in Newaygo Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  The Newaygo VFW Post #4249.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
