Robert "Bob" Joseph Stratil

Robert “Bob” Joseph Stratil, age 72 of Hesperia, passed away Monday morning, November 21, 2022 at his home.  He was born on April 6, 1950 in Muskegon, Michigan to John & Donna (Houston) Stratil.  Bob was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.  He had been employed by CWC Foundry in Muskegon for 16 years, and then he worked for Gerber Products Company in Fremont for 25 years until his retirement in 2012.  Bob was a die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan.  On August 31, 1968 he married Katherine “Kathy” Golden, and she survives him along with 1 daughter, Bobbie Jean Major of Hesperia; 1 granddaughter, Rayna Major;  brother, Ron (Pam) Stratil of Hesperia; sister, Joyce (Fred) Scheffler of Grant; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law:  Juanita Gonzalez, Henry “Hank” Golden, Tracy (Vicki) Golden, Kim (Monica) Golden, Kris (Rhonda) Golden, Charlotte Workman, Rita (John) Perkins, Alice (Jan) Kamphorst; and by several nieces & nephews.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Stratil; brother-in-law, David Gonzalez; and by his sister-in-law & her husband, Barbara & Michael Schultz.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Danne Hren officiating.
