Robert "Bob, RJ" Joe Lummen

Robert Joe “Bob, RJ” Lummen, age 68 of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born on November 24, 1956 in Fremont, Michigan to William & Mary Ella (Kidner) Lummen.  Bob had owned & operated RJ’s Collision Service in Fremont for 40 plus years.  He loved spending time outdoors, hunting, traveling to Alaska, doing special house projects, and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren.  Bob is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Chad) Mason of Spring Lake; 3 grandchildren:  Carter, Ella, & Kyler Mason; 2 sisters:  Marilyn Lummen of Grant, Jayne (Peter) Brosonski of Toms River, New Jersey; and by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Mary Lummen; stillborn brother, Marvin Lummen; and by 2 daughters, Tabitha Jo Lummen & Melissa Leigh Lummen.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Drew Sweetman officiating.   Live Stream of the service will be available on the First Fremont CRC YouTube Page.  Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Wednesday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
