Roblee "Bob" E. Crain, Jr.

Roblee “Bob” E. Crain, Jr., age 76 of Fremont, passed away on Sunday evening, April 21, 2024 at Green Acres Assisted Living in Fremont.  He was born on October 26, 1947 in Muskegon, Michigan to Roblee & Burnette (Hasse) Crain.  Roblee was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and he was a member of the Fremont Laurel’s VFW Post 6898.  He was a retired diesel mechanic for MPH after 30 years of employment.  Roblee enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and he was an avid mushroom hunter.  He is survived by his brothers & sisters:  William (Mary) Crain of Newaygo, Barbara (Russel) Gort of Newaygo, Roberta (Kevin) Weaver of Newaygo, Bert (Kathy) Crain of New Carlisle, Ohio; and by many nieces & nephews.  Roblee was preceded in death by his parents, Roblee & Burnette Crain; and by his sister & her husband, Kathleen & Elmer Moore.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church in Fremont with Pastor Coty Crain officiating.  Military Honors will be held at the conclusion of the service, immediately followed by a luncheon at church.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday.  Suggested Memorials:  Newaygo County Compassion Home, or Hospice of Michigan - Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
