Rodney J. Borgman, age 56 of Fremont, passed away on Monday morning, July 12, 2021 at Regency at Fremont. He was born on January 28, 1965 in Fremont, Michigan to Harold J. & Dorothy M. (VandenBerg) Borgman. Rodney graduated from Fremont High School, and he had worked at Shigley Orchard and Borgman Orchard. He was a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont, where he had been an ordained Deacon. Rodney was a member of local tractor clubs which included the 2 Cylinder Club, and he enjoyed collecting toy tractors. He also enjoyed people, loved telling stories, and sharing his gift of humor. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, by his sister Nancy Oosterhouse, and by his brother-in-law Steve Allen. He is survived by his sisters & brother: Joyce (David) deVelder of New York, Greg Borgman of Holland, Patti Allen of Fremont; brother-in-law, David (Laurie) Oosterhouse of Muskegon; 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and several great nieces & nephews. A Private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont with Bill Johnson officiating.
