Ronald Lee Grinwis

Ronald Lee Grinwis, age 87 of Grant, passed away on Sunday morning, May 1, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on March 24, 1935 in Muskegon, Michigan to Thomas & Clara (Kooi) Grinwis.  Ron had been an electrician and millwright at Anaconda Wire and Cable Company in Muskegon, and for Bofors Nobel, Inc. in Muskegon.  He had a beef cattle farm, was a member of the NRA, and spent 27 years wintering in Texas.  Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going on lots of adventures, and he was a leather craftsman.  On November 18, 1955 he married Dorothy A. Cook, and she survives him along with 5 children:  Suellen Fowler, Deborah (Don) Follett, Georgina Grinwis, Ronald A. (Vicki) Grinwis, Heidi (Floyd) Wheetley; 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, & several great-great grandchildren; his sister, Karen Conklin; and by many friends including those in Texas.  There will be a time of visiting with the family at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2022.  Interment will be in Bridgeton Township Cemetery.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
