Ronald Lee Grinwis, age 87 of Grant, passed away on Sunday morning, May 1, 2022 at his residence. He was born on March 24, 1935 in Muskegon, Michigan to Thomas & Clara (Kooi) Grinwis. Ron had been an electrician and millwright at Anaconda Wire and Cable Company in Muskegon, and for Bofors Nobel, Inc. in Muskegon. He had a beef cattle farm, was a member of the NRA, and spent 27 years wintering in Texas. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going on lots of adventures, and he was a leather craftsman. On November 18, 1955 he married Dorothy A. Cook, and she survives him along with 5 children: Suellen Fowler, Deborah (Don) Follett, Georgina Grinwis, Ronald A. (Vicki) Grinwis, Heidi (Floyd) Wheetley; 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, & several great-great grandchildren; his sister, Karen Conklin; and by many friends including those in Texas. There will be a time of visiting with the family at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Interment will be in Bridgeton Township Cemetery.
