Ronald David McCastle

Ronald David McCastle, age 88 of Holton, went to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.  He was born on December 6, 1937 in Muskegon, Michigan to David & Thelma (Cregg) McCastle.  Ron had worked in the maintenance department at Holton Public Schools for 43 years until his retirement in 2000.  He was a member of Holton Methodist Church, and he had been active in the DeColores Community.  Ron was preceded in death by his wife Madeline Carol in 1986, and by his wife Doris “Edna” in 2019.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister Shirley Zoscsak.  Ron is survived by 5 children:  David (Michelle) McCastle of Holton, Tessa (Craig) McFarland of Muskegon, Lisa (Frank) Sprague of Norton Shores, William (Sue) Seaben of Newaygo, Amy (Kirk) Younts of Twin Lake; 15 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren.  According to his wishes cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Holton Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Stoll officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at church from 12-1 PM on Friday.  Interment will be next to his wife Madeline at Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.  Suggested Memorial:  Holton Methodist Church.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
