Rosella "Rosie" (Combs) DeWitte

Rosella "Rosie" DeWitte, age 77 of Fremont, passed away on Saturday morning, November 11, 2023 surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 10, 1946 in Kennett, Missouri to Arnold Fred & Dessie Virginia (West) Combs.  Rosella had been a CNA for many years at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont, and at Fountain View Retirement Village of Grant.  She had also been a beautician for most of her adult life.  Rosella liked NASCAR, ceramics, dogs, and collecting stemware.  She had also attended White Cloud Church of God.  Rosella was a loving mother to her 2 daughters:  Jodie (Frank) Whaples of Dothan, Alabama, Robin (Dave) Maring of Fremont; 5 grandchildren:  Keith Bordeaux, Wesly Bordeaux, Rachel (Justin) Parrish, Justin Maring, Katelynn (Cody) Arnold; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters & brothers:  her twin sister Novella Johnson, Deb (David) Wolfsen, Ross (Beth) Graves, Mitchell (Kristin) Graves, Michelle (Rick) Davis; and by many nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alger Brown; parents, Arnold & Dessie Combs; great-granddaughter, Paisleigh Blake Parrish; brother, Arnold Steve Combs; and by 3 nieces:  Jamie, Shelley, & Amy.  A celebration of Rosella's life will be held at a later date.  Suggested Memorials:  Bellwether Harbor, or the Newaygo County Animal Shelter.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
