Rosmarye “Rosie” Caroline Kruszynski, age 90 of Holton, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023 at her residence in Stuart, Florida. She was born on May 15, 1932 in Mecosta, Michigan to Forrest & Ruby (Swiler) Livingston. Rosie loved being a teacher, and she was an elementary school teacher at Holton Public Schools for 36 years until her retirement in 1988. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, ceramics, and playing the piano. Rosie was a member of St Michael Catholic Church in Brunswick. On April 11, 1953 she married Robert F. Kruszynski and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jane Baillie. She is survived by 2 children: Kim (William “Pat”) Slayton, Jim (Wendy) Kruszynski; 3 grandchildren: Krysti (Vachel) Perkins, Justin (Chelsea) Kooi, Kendall Kruszynski; 3 great-grandchildren: Jakob, Aiden, & Shane Perkins; and by 1 sister, Audrey Stine. Cremation has taken place, and there will be a time of visiting with the family at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 1-3 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023, where the Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 PM by Fr. Pete Schafer. Interment will take place at St Michael Catholic Cemetery in Brunswick immediately following the Rosary, and then there will be a luncheon at the Holton American Legion from 5-7 PM on Friday.
