Ruth Marie Wingelaar

Miss Ruth Marie Wingelaar, age 76 of Fremont, met Jesus and is pain free early Saturday morning, March 22, 2025.  She was born on May 1, 1948 in Fremont, Michigan to John & Myna (VanAndel) Wingelaar.  Ruth had been an aid for multiple medical facilities, and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Fremont.  She enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, photography, and thrifting.  Ruth volunteered making thousands of bandages for mission hospitals in Africa, and she also volunteered at Love INC of Newaygo County.  She is survived by her sisters & brothers:  Mary Lou Alexander of Fremont, Roger (Kiran) Wingelaar of Fremont, James (Deidre) Wingelaar of Wyoming, Michigan, Charles (Lori) Wingelaar of Ludington, Cheryl (Ezra) Hodgson of Berryville, Arkansas; aunt, Mickey VanAndel of Spring Lake; and by several nieces, nephews, & cousins.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Fremont with Dr. Steve Witter officiating.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Visitation will also be at church from 1:00-1:30 PM on Thursday.  Suggested Memorial:  Love INC of Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
