Sadie Marie (Rooney) Parrish

Sadie Marie (Rooney) Parrish, age 40 of Grant, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, June 18, 2021 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She was born on September 30, 1980 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Richard & Susan (Steffes) Rooney.  Sadie was currently employed at Kentwood Dental Care, and she had previously worked at Muskegon Family Care.  She enjoyed relaxing by going on short trips, especially to Holland and Ludington.  On March 3, 2019 Sadie married Shane Parrish and he survives her along with 2 daughters, Kennedy Kohler & Kaitlyn Kohler; 2 step-children, Weston Parrish & Gabriella Parrish; her parents, Richard & Susan Rooney of Trufant; her sister, Sara (Brandon) Beardsley of Trufant; her father-in-law & mother-in-in-law, Ken &  Christine Parrish of Grant; brother-in-law, James McKinley of Big Rapids; and several nieces & nephews.  Sadie was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Celena Mulder.  A time of visiting with the family to celebrate Sadie’s life will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to https://gofund.me/c0e40868.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
