Sammie Marie (Gleason) Golden

Mrs. Sammie Marie Golden, age 90 of Hesperia, passed away on Thursday evening, June 9, 2022 at Fountain View Retirement Village of Fremont.  She was born on September 27, 1931 in Walkerville, Michigan to Phillip & Doris Gleason.  Sammie had been employed at Gerber Products Company for 37 ½ years until her retirement, and she was an active member of White River Community Church in Hesperia.  On June 10, 1961 she married George Golden and he survives her along with her children:  Vickie (Kerry) Leach, Audie (Kathy’O) Golden; 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, & 3 great-great grandchildren.  Sammie was preceded in death by her son, Michael Golden; and by her brother Sidney Gleason.  The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at White River Community Church in Hesperia with Pastor Bill Blount officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 11-12 Noon on Tuesday.  Interment will be in Volney Cemetery.  Suggested Memorials:  Fountain View Retirement Village of Fremont, or Spectrum Health Hospice.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
