Sandra "Sandi" Lace (Thomas) Tanis

Sandra “Sandi” Lace Tanis, age 74 of White Cloud, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in Fremont.  She was born on July 16, 1951 in Niagara Falls, New York to Robert and Anna (Schultz) Thomas.  Sandi had been employed for 31 years at Fremont Insurance Company until her retirement in 2017.  She enjoyed her flowers, sewing, and quilting.  On May 17, 1971 she married Steven J. Tanis and he survives her along with 2 children, Aimee (James) Ward and Chad Tanis; 2 grandchildren, Emma and Molly Ward; brothers & sisters:  Matthew (Toni) Thomas, Robin Burson, Mark Thomas, Luke (Marsia) Thomas, Chalah (Joe) Dicesare; and by many nieces & nephews.  Sandi was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Anna Thomas, and by her brother John Thomas.  There will be no visitation or service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
