Scott Alan Deuling

Scott Alan Deuling, age 59 of Wayland & formerly of Fremont, passed away peacefully at home early Monday morning, April 7, 2025 surrounded by family & friends after a year and a half battle with prostate cancer.  He was born on January 21, 1966 in Fremont, Michigan to Frederick William & Geraldine Mae (Tibbe) Deuling.  Scott was a truck driver for over 3 decades, hauling milk and steel amongst other things.  He stocked freezers at Meijer in Cedar Springs for a year and a half, and he really enjoyed the experience.  Scott always put others before himself.  He is survived by 4 children:  Eliza (Bobby) Burns, Erica (Cole) Beasy, Benjamin Deuling, Brooke Deuling; 3 grandchildren:  Zoebelle Burns, Maverick & Avery Beasy; 4 step-children:  Russell, Patty, Jack and Jeremy Harris.  He is also survived by his significant other, Jennifer Pinney; several brothers & sisters; and by many nieces & nephews.  Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Christopher Trucker’s Relief Fund.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
