Scott Curie Henderson

Scott Curie Henderson, age 49 of Fremont, entered into Glory on Monday morning, July 10, 2023.  He was born on April 6, 1974 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Jim & Sue (Howdyshell) Henderson.  Scott graduated from Newaygo High School in 1993, and then went to Ferris State University to become an HVAC technician.  He had been employed by Franklin Holwerda Company (FHC) in Grand Rapids for 21 years as an HVAC technician.  Scott had also been a drummer for several bands since high school, and since 2005 he had played the drums at Resonate Church in Newaygo, where he was an active member.  Scott was a gun enthusiast, and he had been a CPL instructor.  He also enjoyed duck & deer hunting, fly fishing, and snowmobiling.  On April 6, 2007 he married Kelly L. Callison and she survives him along with 3 daughters & 9 grandchildren:  Megan (fiance Kyle Gardenour) Stone and children Adalynn, Tori, Ensley, & Ezra; Kourtney (Lance) Veenstra and children Braydon, Kael, Reid, Oliver, with 1 more expected soon; and Adriah (Donovan) Locke and daughter Olivia.  Scott is also survived by his mother, Sue (Tom Robinson) Henderson; sister, Jody (Jae) Lee; and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Henderson, on July 25, 2013.  A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Resonate Church in Newaygo with Pastor Paul Ruzinsky officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 10-11 AM on Monday.  Suggested Memorial:  Resonate Church Worship Ministry.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
