(Selma) Patricia "Pat" (Harrell) Reno

(Selma) Patricia “Pat” Reno, age 96 of Twin Lake, MI, passed away on Friday evening, February 27, 2026 at her home. 

Pat was born on November 17, 1929 to Aaron and Marian Harrell (both deceased) in Muskegon, MI.  She lived in Muskegon County her entire life.  She graduated from Muskegon High, and married Billy A. Reno in 1952.  Billy passed away in 1996 after they moved to Holton in 1971.  She later moved to the Twin Lake area. 

Pat was an active member of the Holton Methodist Church and the DeColores movement.  She was a prior member of the Muskegon First Baptist Church. 

Pat is survived by two daughters:  Lynda Lou Werkema and Paula Kay Fischer, both of Twin Lake; grandchildren:  Joseph (Michaela) Palmer, Erin (Cary) DeVowe, Curt Fischer, Teresa (Patrick) McKee, and Matt Fischer; and by 10 great grandchildren.  Besides her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons-in-law, Carl Fischer and Rick Werkema; by her brother and his wife, Bernard and Carol Harrell; and by her sister and her husband, Janet and Carleton “Gus” Gustin.

Pat retired from the Holton Post Office as a Rural Mail Carrier in 1991.  She enjoyed doing crafts, a gift she passed on to her daughters.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Holton Methodist Church, 9530 Holton Duck Lake Road, on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Matt Stoll officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 12-1 PM on Friday.  A luncheon and time to further visit with the family will immediately follow the service at church.  Memorials in Pat’s name may be made to the Holton Methodist Church Roof Fund.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
