Sharlein Faurot Obituary

Sharlein Faurot, age 79 of Newaygo, a devoted wife, fantastic mother, friend, and Godly woman who loved others, went to be with Jesus on Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2021.  She was born on March 2, 1942 in Lansing, Michigan to Ward Gardner & Emma Louise (Sharlein) Burns.  Sharlein had worked for O&A Electric until she raised her family, and then after raising her family she retired from Newaygo Public Schools as at Teachers Aid.  She was a member of Inspire Church in Fremont, and the Christian Motorcyclist Association where she did ministry throughout the United States.  On September 9, 1961 she married Rich Faurot and he survives her along with 2 daughters:  Samantha (Wayne) Kauffman of Newaygo, Amy (Steve) Burke of Texas; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren plus 3 on the way.  She is also survived by her sister, Sandy Menken; and by her brothers, Bud Burns & Tom (Gloria) Burns.  A Celebration of Sharlein’s Life will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Inspire Church in Fremont with Chaplain Mel Hesselink of Christian Motorcyclist Association officiating.  A time to visit with the family along with refreshments will take place in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.  Suggested Memorial:  Christian Motorcyclist Association Chapter #150 Run for the Son.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
